19-Year-Old Kills Boyfriend in a YouTube Stunt. ‘It’s Just a Prank, Bro!…Bro?? You OK??’

Who do I have to shoot to get some views around here?!?

MonaLisa Perez, 19, thought shooting her boyfriend, Pedro Ruiz, 22, while he held a book in front of him would get some of that sweet YouTube cash. She’ll only get that cash now if she puts up the video where she accidentally shot and killed him in the chest. SMH.

The stunt was Ruiz holding up a book in front of his chest while Perez shot her. It took some convincing. According to Perez, Ruiz had tried to persuade her in the past that it would work. At one time, he “had even shown her a different book that a bullet did not go through.”

Ultimately, common sense didn’t prevail. Perez shot him from a foot away with a .50 caliber Desert Eagle gun. HEADSHOT! No, no headshot.

Perez could face up to 10 years in jail for second-degree manslaughter. Even worse, the couple’s 3-year-old daughter witnessed the accident. On top of that, Perez is pregnant with their second child. Siiiiigh.

All for the views too. Their “La MonaLisa” channel had a whopping 522 subscribers as of today. One of their videos was “DOING SCARY STUNTS AT THE FAIR | PART 1.”

Spoiler: They didn’t really do anything scary. Ironically, they’re probably getting more views now that this accident happened. Do you think the girlfriend is checking the view counts from prison?

It blows that four lives are ruined. One’s in jail, one’s dead, and two kids are left with a broken home. The least you could do is go to their YouTube channel and give it a follow.
