Ariel Winter and Her Mom Are Fighting Again. Surprise.

There’s another Celebrity Family Feud going on. No… not the game show. Ariel Winter and her mother, Chrisoula Workman, are butting heads once again. Winter’s estranged mommy decided that it would be the perfect time for her to dish out some unsolicited advice about dressing properly and not overly sexualizing herself. Via Jezebel:

“She needs to grow up. I would tell her to dress properly, be the beautiful person she is. I feel sad that she feels the need to expose herself when it’s not necessary. Ariel is smart, beautiful and talented. She is a legitimate actress. She does not need to do this. She is beautiful with her clothes on.”

Winter’s response was basically, “Are you shitting me? Really?”

What's sad is that you lie consistently. Also, why is it that you only choose to talk to me through the press? I'm doing just fine. 🚫Toxic.

Here it seems like we have an anti-Kardashian moment. Kris Kardashian likely muttered to herself, “Expose herself less? What’s she talking about? Kim became famous for a sex tape, for crying out loud! ” Then again, Winter did legally free herself from her mom because she felt that she was being exploited.

It’s darkly ironic that Workman is trying to lecture her about the way that she dresses since Winter says her mom tried to push her to have a more sexual image as a minor. A showbiz family all messed up? You don’t say?!?! It’s good that she’s telling her mom to go take a long walk off a short pier. She was quite blunt about it, too, calling her toxic.

Winter’s 19… she’s still a teenager who thinks she knows everything and isn’t afraid to try to shock people… though she’s not at the Miley Cyrus level. Have a look at some of these Instagram shots and decide for yourself.
