Rachel Lindsay is the first black Bachelorette in the show’s 15-year history. Some people are celebrating this, I’m wondering why it took them 15 years.
Lee Garrett is the 3674th (number may not be exact) white male to be on the Bachelorette. However, he might be the first person to play guitar and sing during his initial meeting.
Don’t let that last sentence confuse you. While Garrett plays a sweetheart on television, like everyone on television, he’s a terrible person on social media.

Instead of explaining his tweets, Garrett did what every great person who is owned on social media does.
Poor Rachel. She’s either going to end up with this racist or she’s going to end up with another man who she’ll split from in less than a year.
