Halsey: ‘Iggy Azalea is a Fucking Moron’ Iggy: ‘Who?’

Let’s not bury the lede here: Iggy Azalea is a fucking moron. But unfortunately, I have something in common with her. I don’t know who Halsey is either.

Halsey was asked if she could pick and chose who she featured on her albums. The answer she gave was gold.

“Yes, I can, and there’s a lot of people I would’t put on my record. Iggy Azalea: absolutely not. She had a complete disregard for black culture. Fucking moron. I watched her career dissolve and it fascinated me.”

That’s cutty as hell, but also really articulate. Azalea does have a disregard for black culture and as I mentioned, is a moron.

So when it came time for Azalea to fire back, she played one of the oldest cards in the deck.

“To me, because I’m a famous person and I know a lot of the time people have opinions and they’re not always accurate, I really try very hard not to give my personal opinions about people that I don’t know. I don’t know her. I’ve never met her…. She’s young and I hope she learns maybe to be a bit less judgmental…”

Damn Iggy, that’s ice cold. But also hard to argue with. I don’t know Halsey either (the internet has informed me that she’s a singer). Still, she’s gotten off on the right foot with me. I’ll be sure to check her out now. She sounds very wise.
