Jay Z recently announced that he’ll drop a new album on June 30th. In a completely unrelated gesture, Jay Z announced that he was going to bail out fathers for Father’s Day.
Jay Z is partnering with Southerners on New Ground and Color of Change to bail out potentially innocent victims who can’t afford to post bail prior to their trial. The two companies helped bail out 100 mothers for Mother’s Day and now Hov is getting in on the act.
“On any given day over 400,000 people, convicted of no crime, are held in jail because they cannot afford to buy their freedom.”
Good on Jay Z for helping out those in need. Considering that Beyonce just had twins and put him on blast last year for cheating, Jigga is all about being a good father nowadays.
