Jennifer Garner Confronted Ben Affleck’s New Girlfriend Years Ago

There was a time when Bennifer was the power couple. They starred in a superhero movie together before that was a thing. That time is no longer. Ben Affleck has moved on, and is dating a producer. Jennifer Garner has been publicly simmering for a little while now, and things are reaching a roiling boil.

The timeline of whom Ben was seeing and when has gotten a little murky. It’s starting to become clear that he was doing something naughty with current GF Lindsay Shookus before she was his GF. Possibly while he was already spoken for. By Jen. And Jen didn’t take that lying down.

Sources are saying that Garner confronted Shookus in 2015. She even spoke to Shookus’ ex about the Ben/Lindsay connection.

Garner was on a work trip to New York City when she approached Shookus about the fling. “Lindsay refused to back down or quit the affair,” says a source.

Shookus was definitely married at some point in the timeline. At one point, Garner was on Late Night with Seth Meyers, one of the shows Shookus’s ex-husband, Kevin Miller, produces. Jen tracked him down to compare notes.

The first source says she showed him text messages between Affleck and Shookus, adding, “she had proof.” (Miller and Shookus were already split at the time.)

There’s a lot of he said, she said, he said, she didn’t say, going around. Everyone is accusing and denying and trying to get ahead of each other. It’s delicious.

I bet Ben is extra happy that he bulked up. If this escalates, my money is on him.
