Aaron Carter Comes Out as Bisexual

Been a rough few months for Aaron Carter. He was arrested in George for DUI and marijuana charges. Afterwards, he went on Entertainment Tonight with some ludicrous explanation about it. His explanation stopped short of saying aliens abducting him.

You’ve got his own fans body-shaming Carter for being too skinny and saying he looks like he has cancer. Carter explained why he can’t eat much and looks skinny. Basically, a “part of the stomach pushes up through the diaphragm muscle.” The internet says this causes acid reflux.

Also, he’s lactose intolerant.

So, with all this going on, he came out as a bisexual in a tweet. Hopefully, not having to hide that part of his life will bring him some relief. It will not, though, cure lactose intolerance.

His note read:

To start off, I would like to say that I love each and EVERY ONE of my fans. There’s something I’d like to say that I feel is important for myself and my identity that has been weighing on my chest for nearly half of my life

This doesn’t bring me shame, just a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off of me. I grew up in this entertainment industry at a very young age and when I was around 13-years-old I started to find boys and girls attractive.

There were years that went by that I thought about, but it wasn’t until I was 17-years-old, after a few relationships with girls, I had an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with.

To me music has always been my temple. Music will ALWAYS be what transcends us and myself. The studio has always been my safe haven. But the ultimate goal for me is to be satisfied.

He ended his note with a quote from Boy George:

“I’ve never felt as though I didn’t belong, I just acted as though I did.” – Boy George

Not bad. Would’ve been funny if he ended with “Bless Up – DJ Khaled” and then an eggplant emoji.

In the end, it really doesn’t matter. This isn’t the 1950’s anymore. Being bisexual isn’t gonna move the needle. Say you’re transitioning to a woman, now THAT will get you some major press.
