Justin Bieber Gives Long-Winded Explanation for Canceling Tour

Justin Bieber took time out of his non-busy schedule to explain to fans why he canceled his Purpose tour. Sort of. Not really.

Why did he feel the need to highlight the whole thing? Was he going to delete it after posting the screenshot? That wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense, but then again, a lot of what Bieber does, doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

“Learning and growing hasn’t always been easy but knowing [I’m] not alone has kept me going. I have let my insecurities get the best of me at times, I let my broken relationships dictate the way I acted toward people and the way I treated them! I let bitterness, jealousy and fear run my life! I am extremely blessed to have people in the past few years help me build my character back up reminding me of who I am and who I want to be!”

Are we supposed to feel sorry for Justin Bieber? That would totally be a Bieber thing to do. Mask an apology as an attempt to garner sympathy, but I’m not buying it. This kid has had a million chances and continues to screw up. “Bitterness, jealousy, and fear” aren’t an excuse to ride a skateboard through the streets of China or run over a man.

“[I’m] VERY aware I’m never gonna be perfect, and I’m gonna keep making mistakes but what I’m not gonna do is let my past dictate my future … what I’m not gonna do is be ashamed of my mistakes…”

Your past should dictate your future and you should be ashamed of your mistakes. How else will you learn? “I’m not ashamed that I acted like a dickhead, I’M GONNA KEEP DOING IT!”

“THIS MESSAGE IS IS VERY GRAMMATICALLY INCORRECT BUT IT’S FROM THE HEART. BUT I THINK THERES SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT IMPERFECTIONS!!”

Stay in school, kids.

This post doesn’t actually explain why Bieber canceled his tour, just that he’s working on himself. That’s fine, we all need work. But don’t expect me to feel sorry for you or act like you’re better than those don’t feel the need to publicly announce that they’re not perfect.

If this means Bieber is out of our lives for at least six months, then I’m all for it.
