Kim Kardashian Speaks In Delicious Irony About Donald Trump

Kim Kardashian West doesn’t have time for Taylor Swift’s petty feud. She’s too busy grooming her daughter to be the next President of the United States.

In the latest edition of Harper’s Bazaar, Kim talked about being a feminist and how Donald Trump sucks, among other things.

Here’s what she had to say about how Trump has been doing in office:

“Not the President now. Anyone can run the US better. My daughter would be better,” she deadpans. “We’ve worked so hard to get to where we were and to have so many things that we were so proud of in our country, to just literally revert backwards is the most frustrating thing. Every single day when you can’t really believe what’s going on, the next day it’s something else even more crazy and tragic,” she shakes her head. “It’s really scary, the world that we’re living in now. And when you did feel safe at home, now with Trump in presidency you just don’t feel safe any more.”

Even though there are roughly three million people more qualified to be President, I don’t think Kim Kardashian’s four-year-old daughter, who is named after a direction, is one of them. Maybe when she’s six.

I hope she realizes the irony of what she’s saying, at least. “A reality TV star is not fit to be President. But the daughter of a reality TV star is fine.” Maybe Ivanka should have been President.

Kim also commented on women coming together and sticking up for each other. Which, you know, more irony.

“I have a pretty thick skin. But I feel bad for anyone that gets hate on social media. There’s so much cyber-bullying and negativity in comments to everyone. I think it’s so wrong. No matter what you do, you’re so judged and criticised on social media. I hope it changes. I hope people stop being so negative. We can only go further if everyone uplifts each other and supports one another.”

This, coming from a woman who has spent the last 10-years gossiping about anyone and everyone on reality television. She’s going to be the one to unite all women. Good luck.

And here’s your final Kim Kardashian moment.

“It’s definitely amazing to capture your life. But some people can make their lives look so amazing and it’s all a façade,” she warns. “Instagram moments should just be beautiful and fun and whatever makes you happy. There shouldn’t be that much pressure to try to catch up.”

This is literally all the Kardashian-Jenner children do. Make their life look glamorous on Instagram and pressure people into catching up.

At least Kim stayed #onbrand during this interview. By that, I mean, she promoted herself with a complete lack of self-awareness.
