Ryan Phillippe’s Ex Claims He Abuses Everything, Including Her

Ryan Phillippe, best known as Reese Witherspoon’s ex-husband, is in some serious trouble. Maybe. If Donald Trump taught us anything, it’s that there are very bad people on both sides.

So, let’s hear both sides.

In this corner stands Elsie Hewitt, Phillippe’s ex-girlfriend who claims that Phillippe abuses cocaine, ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms and steroids. She also claims that Phillippe assaulted her while drunk on July 4. After trying to reason with him, Phillippe allegedly picked her up and threw her down a set of stairs on two occasions. She claims to have suffered chest wall pain, abrasions, and bruising. She has filed a lawsuit against Phillippe and is seeking more than $1 million.

In the opposite corner stands Ryan Phillippe, who claims that Hewitt showed up to his house on July 4, days after the broke up She was under the influence of something and refused to leave. Phillippe removed her from the premises, where she fell and hurt herself. He believes that Hewitt is suing out of revenge and finds it odd that she sent out glamour shots. He thinks she’s just out for money and fame.

According to the TMZ report, the L.A. City Attorney investigated the July 4th incident and refused to prosecute.

Who to believe?

It works in Phillippe’s favor that the City Attorney didn’t prosecute after investigating the July 4th incident. If Phillippe violently picked her up and threw her down a set of stairs, twice, the damage would have been pretty noticable. Based on the photographs of a damaged Hewitt that are out there, they look more like “I fell down multiple times” scrapes and bruises compared to “I got thrown down stars multiple times” scrapes and bruises.

I’m not saying I’m a doctor. I’m saying that I’m a clumsy person who bruises easily.

It’s likely that Hewitt and Phillippe settle out of court, and if that happens, well, then it’ll be a confirmed money grab for Hewitt.
