Cardi B Is Out to Murder Your Favorite Rappers

Cardi B already took down Taylor Swift to become the first female rapper to score a #1 Billboard hit in 20 years. Now, she’s going to take down your favorite rapper.

At a recent concert, Cardi went off in a rant directed at those who said she stole Kodak Black’s flow (via XXL):

“And for anybody that telling me, ’Oh bitch, you copied Kodak flow, you copied this and that flow.’ So what bitch? So what? I’ma sound like all your favorite rappers. I’ma take all they flows and I’ma body it bitch. One day I’ma sound like Kodak, the next day I’ma sound like Meek Mill, the next day I’ma sound like Migos. I don’t give a f**k,”

GET ‘EM CARDI!

The stealing of flows in the rap community isn’t exactly new and to Cardi’s credit, she named her hit single “Bodak Yellow.” The track was a clear shout out to Kodak Black and his style. The difference is, she took that style to number one. Most casual hip-hop fans have never heard of Kodak Black.

Nowadays, everyone sounds like Lil Wayne or Kanye West while more and more are starting to sound like Migos following the success of “Bad and Boujee.” Given that Cardi B and Offset from Migos have been dating for the better part of this year, I wouldn’t even say she’d be copying their flow. Unless they signed some sort rap dating prenup.

For a rapper who was relatively unknown six months ago, Cardi certainly doesn’t lack in confidence. But bodying Meek Mill’s flow isn’t exactly shooting for the sky. Meek Mill’s flow hasn’t been the same since Drake bodied his whole career.

Jay-Z said it best when it comes to stealing the flow of another rapper, “Yeah I sampled your voice, you was using it wrong.”

Rappers, if Cardi takes your flow, learn how to flow better. Before your blood ends up on her shoes.

Maybe she could bite the style of, like, a *good* rapper.
