Jeremy Piven Accused of Sexual Assault and No One Is Surprised

Every day, I listen to The Dan Patrick Show. Yesterday, he teased that Jeremy Piven would be a guest on today’s episode. As a fan of the early seasons of Entourage, I was mildly excited. Piven was even going to join them in-studio, which is always better than phone interviews.

The show started and Patrick continued to tease Piven as a guest on the show.

Halfway through the show, Piven was no longer being promoted. The show ended without Piven appearing. No explanation for him not being on the show was given by Patrick. They just dropped the whole thing like a bad WWE storyline.

It turns out, Piven is being accused of sexual assault. And of everyone being accused of sexual assault in Hollywood, it makes sense that Piven would be on the list.

No offense to the guy, but he just has a face and a personality that screams, “I’m going to sexually assault you and threaten you if you tell anyone.” Ariane Bellamar is the accuser.

Here are her tweets:

Bellamar writes:

Hey @jeremypiven! ‘Member when you cornered me in your trailer on the  set? ‘Member grabbing my boobies on the (couch) without asking??

‘Member when I tried to leave; you grabbed me by the ass, looked at yourself in the mirror, & said what a ‘beautiful couple’ we made?

And, don’t try to deny it, sir. @HBO has us on (film) together, & I’m sure @sprint has electronic back-ups of your abusive, explicit texts.

Even less shocking than the fact that Piven would be accused of sexual assault is the fact that it occurred on the set of Entourage. Piven’s character was a walking sexual assault case and the theme of that show may as well have been, “Hollywood guys are powerful, so you must do as they say.”

Piven has yet to respond to the allegations. Given that he’s dropping out of interviews last minute, he clearly doesn’t want to talk about the subject. That’s probably for the best because he’ll likely get himself in more trouble if he opens his mouth.

Congratulations to those of you had wisely had Jeremy Piven in Sexual Assault Bingo.
