Bynes’ big plans involve completing fashion school and getting back into acting. Here’s what a source told Page Six:
“In 2018, she looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting. She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback.”
Last we heard, Selena Gomez wanted her in a role for 13 Reasons Why. According to the same article, Nickelodeon contacted her to revive The Amanda Show, which was hilarious to 6-year-old me. I don’t know how good Amanda Bynes is at sketch comedy in 2018, but hey, Keenan Thompson still does well for himself.
And I’d definitely watch 31-year-old Amanda Bynes try sketch comedy. That has the potential to be a monster train wreck.
Bynes has had a starring role since Easy A back in 2010. That movie also featured Emma Stone and Aly Michalka. Easy A is really underrated as a “movie with multiple hot women.” It’s also a pretty good movie.
After being on the verge of death a few years ago, Bynes has turned her life around. She’s sober, she’s going to grocery stores, and seems like a normal person. It’s uplifting to see such a change. It’s also kind of boring. I miss crazy Amanda Bynes.
