James Franco Is Acting Like A Man Living With Guilt

James Franco isn’t doing so well after getting snubbed by the Oscars. The sexual assault accusations laid against him probably aren’t helping things.

According to People, Franco hasn’t slept in days amidst the allegations. His team wants him to continue to make public appearances, hoping to save his image.

“He’s in a really bad place, so bad that he changed his phone number,” a source close to the situation previously told PEOPLE. “His close friends are trying to be there for him but it’s been hard – he’s only talking to a select group of people. For now, he’s just hiding out.”

Franco did attend the SAG Awards, but skipped the Critic’s Choice Awards. THERE ARE TOO MANY AWARDS SHOWS!

Here’s what Franco told Seth Myers about the accusations:

“There are people that need to be heard,” he told Meyers. “I have my own side of this story, but I believe in these people that have been underrepresented getting their stories out enough that I will hold back things that I could say, just because I believe in it that much,” he said. “So if I have to take a knock because I’m not going to try and actively refute things, then I will, because I believe in it that much.”

Allow me to translate. Franco thinks he’s innocent, but he won’t say he’s innocent because he believes these women have a right to their opinion. Because if he says he’s innocent, it will look like he’s not supporting the Time’s Up movement. And Franco would rather support the Time’s Up movement than fight his own allegations.

I can’t tell if the man is a hero or a moron. I’m leaning towards hero because he probably knows he’s guilty, and instead of fighting or admitting, he’s just supporting. Ladies, you want a man who supports you and your causes. Go get you a James Franco.

Before he gets you without your permission.
