Ron Jeremy Banned from AVN Awards, Along with Probably Ikea and His Local Library, for Sexual Misconduct

The AVN Awards will have to make do without Ron Jeremy after banning the legendary porn star from the awards ceremony and the AVN Expo in line with their new code of conduct. The ban is the result of allegations of sexual harrassment against Jeremy published by Rolling Stone last year. If you had told me a year ago Ron Jeremy wouldn’t be at the AVN Awards because he grabbed a bunch of women’s boobs, I’d be surprised; I would have guessed it would be gout keeping him out.

Page Six spoke to Jeremy about the ban.

Jeremy tells us that the awards “are a lot more conservative than you would think they are. I would follow the rules, but I guess they thought I wouldn’t.”

He added, “I’m not God’s gift to women. I am not saying, ‘Step back Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, Ron Jeremy is here.’ I am old, I am chunky. [But fans] want to see it.”

Man, Ron Jeremy’s ideas on who women want to have sex with is as dated as his appeal as a porn star. Tom Cruise? Really? You think women are lining up to be the beard of a creepy Scientologist like Tom Cruise? You know he auditioned girlfriends before settling on Katie Holmes? The fact that Nazanin Boniadi failed to impress him is enough to tell me something weird is going on.

So Ron Jeremy will just have to stay home and suck his own dick, I guess. If he still can. I’ve seen him do it and it haunts my nightmares.
