Maybe Ronda Rousey Can Find a Heart in WWE

Ronda Rousey officially signed onto WWE today. Rousey appeared at WWE’s Royal Rumble to hype up her probable appearance at the next Wrestlemania. She entered the ring to her usual entrance song, “Bad Reputation” by Joan Jett, amid cheers. Then, she pointed to a Wrestlemania sign a couple of times.

Good thing she didn’t speak because I, for one, don’t find her mic skills that interesting. She also can’t act (seen Entourage?) She just mean mugs people and tries to bully them. Then, when she gets ko’d, she storms off like a DNB. She came at the right time during the infancy of women’s MMA and got popular off luck. She has a paper heart which we found out when she lost to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. Once she got beat by them, she took her ball and went home.

She says she’s not in the WWE for money. Sooo, it’s about the money, right?

“This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt,” Rousey told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne of her decision to join WWE. “When I first met with Triple H, I told him, ‘There are other things I can do with my time that’ll make way more money, but I won’t enjoy nearly as much.'”

That’s the truth. She definitely doesn’t enjoy getting hit in the face. Dana White knows that. That’s probably why he said she’s never coming back to the UFC.

“She won’t fight again,” White said. “I love that woman. We have an amazing relationship. What she’s done for the sport and for this company, created millions of female fans around the world. Ronda can do whatever the hell she wants to do.”

Now the WWE will let her wrestle for a fake fighting belt because she’d never win a real one. Interestingly enough, she’s really good at training so she’ll do well training as hard in pro wrestling as she did in MMA. Lucky for her though, wrestling is staged so they’ll do well to cover up that she has no real heart.
