Airline Forces Owner to Flush Emotional Support Hamster Down the Toilet

We all have our emotional support items. Maybe it’s a necklace or a bracelet or a stress ball. For a lot of people, it’s an animal. Emotional support dogs are the hottest selling item on Amazon.

Unfortunately, emotional support animals don’t travel very well.

Take this woman, Belen Aldecosea, for example. She had an emotional support hamster. I say “had” because she was forced to flush poor Pebbles down the toilet because the Baltimore airport would not allow Pebbles to travel. Should have bought the hamster a ticket.

Aldescosea said she spent 10 minutes crying in the stall after flushing Pebbles.

PETA is definitely coming after you, Baltimore airport.

Aldescosea got Pebbles in 2017 after a cancer scare. She was told by an airline representative to flush the animal after she failed to acquire transportation that would bring Pebbles home. Originally, she was told that the animal could travel on the airline without an issue. The airline denies the claim that she was told to flush Pebbles, but that hasn’t stopped Aldescosea from potentially taking out a lawsuit.

I hope Spirit loses this lawsuit and is forced to buy Aldescosea emotional support hamsters for the rest of her life.

This comes a week after an emotional support peacock was banned from traveling on American Airlines.

Alright, here’s the solution: Emotional Support Airlines. It’ll be like a zoo, but in the sky. You can fly your pets separately or you can fly with your pet.

Something must be done to make sure emotional pets are protected. I’ve just laid a million dollar idea at someone’s feet. Make sure you give me credit and part of your money.
