According to a Page Six, Donald Trump Jr.’s soon-to-be ex-wife is divorcing the president’s son because “he treats her like a second-class citizen.”
Yes, despite being the the son of the president, Trump Jr. is cheap. Here’s what a source said about the impending divorce:
“He gives her very little help and has been keeping her on a tight budget. She doesn’t live a lavish life and can very rarely pick up a check at dinner.”
Another source says that Vanessa has to go to her mother for money.
A spokesperson for Vanessa denies these claims, saying, “Don and Vanessa have tremendous respect for each other and always have. The notion that she has had to rely on her family for assistance is absolutely false and utterly ridiculous.”
Whether Trump Jr. being a tight-wad with his money is true or not, it’s not the main reason for the two getting a divorce. A source claims that Vanessa was having doubts about marrying The Donald’s son up until the moment she said, “I do” and was talking to divorce lawyers during Trump’s campaign. After Trump won, she wanted to stick it out with Trump Jr. for his father’s four-year term. But that too is being denied.
There are also conflicting reports on whether Vanessa likes all of the social media posts by Trump Jr. One source says she hates how Trump Jr. paints himself as the perfect father who always spends time with the kids. Another source says she has no problem with it and has nothing bad to say about the father of her five children.
