Brad Pitt’s New Friend Is Way Too Smart for Him

Sorry, Tiffany Haddish, you may not get your 2019 Oscars wish.

A source tells Page Six that Brad Pitt is currently dating Neri Oxman. Who is that? Well, she’s an architect, award-winning artist and MIT professor. She’s also described as a “rockstar.” Basically, she’s way above Pitt’s intellectual level.

Here’s what the source had to say about their newfound relationship:

“Brad and Neri instantly hit it off because they share the same passion for architecture, design and art. This is best described as a professional friendship.”

But the source added, “Their friendship has not turned into romance … as both are cautious and this is, again, more of a professional friendship, but Brad is very interested in spending more time with Neri, she is fascinating.”

A friend close to Pitt confirmed that they are “just friends” for the moment. Yeah, I’ve seen that movie. Turns out, Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart were more than “just friends.”

How impressive is Oxman? Here are some of the accomplishments listed by Page Six:

*Directs the Mediated Matter group, which conducts research into bonding design and architecture with natural and biological environments.

*Builds 3-D printers capable of printing glass and biologic matter

*Coined the term “Material Ecology,” which takes into account computation, fabrication, and the material itself as inseparable dimensions of design.

*Won the 2008 International Earth Awards for Future-Crucial Design, the 2014 Vilcek Prize in Design, and the 2015 Emerging Voices award from the Architectural League of New York.

Plus a bunch of other stuff that makes me feel stupid.

Pitt does fancy himself as an architect and sculptor, which is why he keeps taking roles where he kills zombies and Nazis.
