In case you weren’t heartbroken enough over the Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan news, another celebrity couple has called it quits.
Yes, Hank Baskett and Kendra Wilkinson have officially ended things.
In the video, Kendra gives a tearful speech saying, “I did everything I could. It wasn’t good enough. I will always love him and my heart will always remain open for him. I believed in forever, I really did. Guess it’s just not meant to be. I’m so scared, but I have to get strong for my kids — I will.”
If you thought they split years when he cheated on her with a tranny while she was pregnant, you were sorely mistaken.
The couple worked through that rough patch by appearing on Marriage Boot Camp. They also appeared on Celebrity Wife Swap, but that aired before the affair. Honestly, it would be easier to name the reality shows that Kendra hasn’t appeared on.
A source told PEOPLE that many factors went into the decision to divorce.
“The marriage was never a walk in the park. They had a lot of issues, whether it was his lack of longevity in his career to his Super Bowl fiasco to her postpartum depression to his infidelity to money and career problems. … It just never was the fairytale she wanted”
The video may have had more impact if she didn’t snap a photo of the outfit she wore with the caption, “Picking an outfit was hard. I was shaking the whole time.”
The two have two kids together Hank IV, eight, and Alijah, three.
Like Jesus the day before, Kendra plans on undergoing a rebirth.
