Robin Thicke’s Girlfriend April Love Geary Is Breastfeeding and Not Taking S**t About It

New mothers breastfeed babies and everybody is constantly posting pictures of themselves to social media, so there’s bound to be some overlap. Robin Thicke, who I think is a singer or something, but is the son of the awesome Alan Thicke, took a picture of his girlfriend April Love Geary breastfeeding their tiny, adorable newborn daughter and she posted it to Instagram.

Isn’t that sweet? I thought so, but Chanelle Hayes, whom I’m told is famous for being in a show chronicling her failure to become famous, didn’t think so. Geary was in no mood for her crap, pointing out Hayes “got both boobs out” for photos without a baby, and so maybe she should shut her thot mouth.

Breastfeeding is perfectly normal, provided you’re breastfeeding an infant and not a gradeschooler, that is. And even famous mothers breastfeed their kids. In fact, People recently had a feature on celebrity moms and their breastfeeding stories.

Amal Clooney, wife of George Clooney and awesome human rights lawyer, said having twins made things complicated. “When I was nursing, it was much more complicated, because there are two. I had all manner of weird cushions and pillows and machines.”

Meanwhile, Jessica Alba posted an Instagram story when she had to go into a dressing room at Target to breastfeed.

And after Tammy Ducksworth, the first sitting US Senator to give birth, had her baby, the Senate changed its rules to allow breastfeeding mothers to bring infants onto the floor of the Senate chamber.

We even have sports bras you can breastfeed while wearing, so you can breastfeed while you’re out for a jog or playing lacrosse, I guess.

I always thought it was weird people got all bent out of shape about mothers breastfeeding. The milk is there for a reason, it’s the whole point of boobs, it’s what they exist to do. And I think boobs are pretty great, so I’m glad they’re finally getting to achieve their dreams and live their dreams.
