Paul Ryan Probably Cried Into a Worn Copy of ‘Atlas Shrugged’ After Seth Rogen Humiliated Him in Front of His Kids

Paul Ryan is one of the worst people in the world. He’s built his entire political career on the idea that poor people should die homeless and has spent his time as Speaker of the House doing everything he can do to dismantle Social Security and Medicare, programs that are provably keeping the elderly out of poverty.

Like Donald Trump, Paul Ryan longs to be accepted by celebrities, but he never will be because he’s a massive tool. The beltway media likes to paint him as being “reasonable” and a “grown-up” because the beltway media is idiotic and completely out of touch. But it also means that it isn’t very often that someone tells Paul Ryan to his face what a piece of s**t he is. Enter Seth Rogen.

Rogen appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday to talk about Canada legalizing marijuana and an appearance he made at an event organized by Mitt Romney at which he snubbed Paul Ryan in front of his kids when he asked for a picture.

And I look over, and his kids are standing right there, expectantly, clearly fans of mine, and I said, ‘No way, man!’

I couldn’t stop, and I said, ‘Furthermore, I hate what you’re doing to the country at this moment, and I count the days until you no longer have one iota of the power that you currently have!’

And I look over and his kids are still standing right there! And I feel very conflicted about this, at this moment. It’s not their fault, but at the same time they should probably learn that if they like a movie or song, the person who made that probably doesn’t like their dad that much!

This isn’t the first time a celebrity has humiliated Ryan in public for being a terrible person. In 2012, when Ryan was Mitt Romney’s running mate against President Obama, Ryan said his favorite band was Rage Against the Machine. Rage Against The Machine’s guitarist, Tom Morello, wrote a scathing op-ed for Rolling Stone at the time, calling Ryan “the embodiment of the machine our music rages against,” and Ryan clearly hasn’t made any headway into celebrity circles since then. Must be rough to know all your heroes hate you just because you have the power to affect real change in the world and use it almost exclusively to give more money to the rich.
