XXXTentacion Murder Suspect Arrested

Dedrick D. Williams, the man suspected in the murder of XXXTentacion, has been taken into custody.

During a vigil held in Florida for the 20-year-old rapper, XXXTentacion’s mom received notification that Williams had been caught.

TMZ reports that Williams, 22, was pulled over for driving without a license. He was placed into custody for an active warrant for murder, which was signed the day after the shooting of Tentacion.

This isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble, although it’s his most serious offense. He’s been previously arrested for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, grand theft auto and aggravated assault with a firearm. He has at least 11 felonies on his record. In 2014, he allegedly held a gun to his girlfriend’s head. The dude should have been in jail long before this week.

Williams is being held without bail for first-degree murder and probation violation.

Two days after the shooting, Williams took to Facebook to post, “Don’t piss me off u will never know wats next.” Hope he tries that same line in cell block four.

The post was written under the name “Chucky Williams.” According to Page Six, Williams is a tattoo artist named “Tattooman Chucky” and has a tattoo of the Chucky doll on his arm. He has no known connection to the rapper, other than following him on Instagram.

XXXTentacion was killed during a robbery on Monday. Witnesses saw two masked men flee the scene of the shooting.
