Donald Trump Is Going to Kill Andy Dick for Touching Ivanka 11 Years Ago

Andy Dick is pleading “comedy” as a video of him getting a little too handsy with Ivanka Trump has resurfaced.

The incident took place in 2007 when Dick and Trump appeared on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Ivanka tries to have a normal discussion, but Dick is too busy rubbing his hand on her leg. She playfully slaps his hand away and Kimmel says, “Donald Trump will kill both of us” as he leaves his seat to get him to stop.

Eventually, security comes out to haul him away.

Dick referenced the incident back in December in an Instagram post.

He captioned:

The time I “groped” Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Her legs were sparkling, and I was trying to see if the glitter would wipe off. I also mistakenly thought she would date me. I was jokingly carried off by security. Is anybody going to carry Trump off? No joke. Confusing times. (the weird thing is, I shot this same scene a YEAR EARLIER for my movie Danny Roane: First Time Director, but I was peeing on Malcolm in the middle, not groping )

Whether or not it was a bit is up for debate. Ivanka clearly looks annoyed and she’s not a good enough actress to pull off the joke that convincingly.

The video resurfacing has everything to do with new sexual assault allegations against Dick. According to TMZ, Dick has been charged with simple battery stemming from an April incident where he grabbed a woman’s butt as he walked past her.

Obviously no one cared about this in 2007. It was a thing that happened, people probably laughed, and then we moved on. Eleven years later, it’s a thing. That’s the kind of world we live in nowadays.

I’m not holding this incident against Dick. It was painfully unfunny, but that’s his entire career outside of the criminally underrated In The Army Now. The best thing we can do is ignore him. And maybe he’ll finally go away.
