Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Going to Milk Engagement for Every Bit of Attention

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande might be rushing to the altar, but Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin plan on taking their time.

According to TMZ, Bieber and Baldwin will wait until 2019 before getting married. Not because they are unsure. They just want to enjoy the engagement. They also believe that by committing to an engagement and future wedding, that’s all the commitment they need.

In other words, they want to wait until the media dies down a bit before getting massive attention again. If there’s one thing Bieber and Baldwin are good at, it’s getting attention for their antics more than their talent.

The two got engaged in July after about a month of being back together. They had previously dated in 2016.

Long engagements are always a risk. You don’t jump from the engagement phase to the honeymoon phase, giving yourself a good six to nine months of bliss before you’re married and realize you hate each other. The longer you wait to get married after an engagement, the more time where you start asking, “Are they really committed?”

A source said, “Justin’s been in love with her for a long time, so this didn’t just come from out of the blue.” TMZ also mentions that the two have gotten back together a number of times, more than the media knows about.

Man, poor Selena Gomez. It looked like every time Bieber and Gomez split, he fell back on Baldwin. Maybe we got it all wrong. Maybe every time he split with Baldwin, he fell back on Gomez.
