Julie Chen is leaving The Talk amid sexual assault allegations surrounding her husband, former CBS network chief Les Moonves.
The good news is that she’ll still be hosting Big Brother, which is the only show that matters on CBS.
Chen recorded her goodbye to The Talk in front of the Big Brother house. No word yet if JC was being a creeper and listening in.

Carrie Ann Inaba was filling in for Chen, but there’s been no word yet on who will officially take Chen’s place. It’ll probably be Inaba because CBS wants to keep it Asian. But, assuming they decide to pivot, I have some ideas.
First, we must know the other hosts of The Talk. There’s Sara Gilbert, best known as being not Roseanne. Sharon Osbourne, famous for marrying Ozzy Osbourne. Sheryl Underwood, who’s not Sara Jean Underwood or Carrie Underwood. And Eve, the former rapper who is better than Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
Now that we know the other co-hosts, who would be the perfect fit next to those four women? Here are my top five choices:
Let’s be honest, Julie Chen held the show together. She was the professional host who kept it moving while the others rambled on. Lake has talk show host experience and can provide the same expertise. Assuming she’s free.
I dunno, let’s get weird.
Let’s get really fucking weird.
Isn’t American Idol over? Seacrest could use a new gig and The Talk could use a male perspective. Which doesn’t explain why they would pick Seacrest, but I digress. Seacrest is just the male Julie Chen, if you think about it.
How come The Talk is nothing but women? Men like to talk to. Women complain that men aren’t good listeners, which means we must be good talkers. Hire a male, you cowards.
Tamron Hall
GOOD CHOICE
Rosie ODonnell
o, such a bad choice
