In extremely sad news, Jenni “JWoww” Farley is divorcing Roger Mathews. Newer fans know them as the sort of stable couple from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Older fans know them as the extremely unstable couple from Jersey Shore.
All I know is that I did not have them at the top of my Jersey Shore divorce list. I figured Ronnie and Sam would have been married and divorced at least twice by now. Instead, she’s happily dating and he’s on the verge of going insane as his baby mama is a complete nutcase.
Anyway, back to JWoww and Roger.
Jenni Farley filed for divorce from husband Roger Mathews on September 12 citing, “irreconcilable differences which have caused the breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months which make it appear that the marriage should be dissolved and that there is no prospect of reconciliation.”
Roger posted an Instagram video saying, “My wife filed for divorce, it’s true. I’m just gonna keep it simple. I don’t blame her. There’s no cheating or any dumb s**t, any juicy details. She just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into…again, I’m not gonna get into detail but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.”
He also stated that he plans on winning his wife back. The two share two kids together.
JWoww has yet to comment on the divorce.
These two are going to work things out. I don’t care that the papers say “no prospect of reconciliation.” They will work it out. How do I know this? Because I’ve seen every episode of the Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. I didn’t watch that Snooki & JWoww show due to a lack of Pauly D and Vinnie.
They’ll not only work it out, MTV will turn it into a new reality show Reality Counseling. Just trust me on this. Things will be fine.
