Amy Schumer Feels Bad for Hot Women, Thinks She’s the Perfect Level of Moderately Attractive

Amy Schumer thinks Amy Schumer is the perfect level of attractiveness, which puts her at about halfway on her journey to just actually be Lena Dunham. Anyone who’s watched her comedy could see it coming, she’s been getting less funny with each subsequent special, and nothing she’s done has come close to as funny as Cutting. I guess that’s what happens when you run out of other people’s jokes.

Here’s what Schumer told Dax Shepard, via Page Six:

The “I Feel Pretty” star continued, “Being a woman sucks. It’s very difficult, and something else that we’ve all realized is like, we are sexualized like, all the time – even when it seems crazy – so I feel really bad for these girls who are so hot because guys can’t handle it. You can’t have a conversation. Everything’s gonna skew sexual and you’re gonna be treated differently. And honestly, I actually feel really bad for them.”

[…]

“But then there’s also women that feel so unattractive that they’re just invisible…it just sucks anyway,” she said.

And while Schumer and Shepard both agreed that its a lose-lose situation for women, in regards to her own appearance she said, “I would not change a f–king thing.”

Look, I’ve made no secret of the fact that I find Amy Schumer attractive, but I don’t think I’d say she’s the perfect level of attractiveness in some kind of Three Bears situation where Iliza Shlesinger is too hot and Chelsea Handler isn’t hot enough but Amy Schumer is just right.

It’s like, if you win the lottery, it can get annoying when friends and relatives are constantly asking you for money. If you have a fancy sports car, the police pull you over more often. Etc. But beauty isn’t something you’re born with. It’s something you do. If you don’t… Read more »
