Earlier this year, Full House and Fuller House star John Stamos became a father for the first time at the age of 54.
Stamos’ now 32-year-old wife, Caitlin McHugh, is the mother of their son, Billy. Before I go any further, I should add here that Caitlin McHugh was born in 1986, the same year as the Olsen Twins. That is correct. John Stamos’ wife is the exact same age as the babies he worked with on Full House! Just keep this in mind anytime you see Stamos post a Full House throwback picture:
You’re welcome, everyone!
Stamos recent appeared on Busy Philipps’ new E! show, Busy Tonight. He revealed that despite his ability to instill desire into all women over the age of 30, he still needed some extra help in the procreation department. When trying to conceive, he and his wife visited a fertility clinic where Stamos had to produce a specimen. Stamos said that the doctor brought him to a back room with videos and a TV. The doctor assured Stamos that he was welcome to use the TV should he require any additional stimulation. And that’s when things got awkward. Here’s what Stamos had to say about what happened next:
“So I turn the TV on, and Fuller House is on. My hand to God! And I’m like, ‘If I’m going to masturbate to myself, it’s going to be my old self, not the new self.’”
I’m not even going to touch on how narcissistic a person has to be to get off on watching himself on TV. And on one of the most sterile family-oriented shows at that. I suspect that Stamos has been taking some cues from BoJack Horseman in this area.
Busy Philipps responded to Stamos’ story with a hearty laugh. However, I suspect that behind her eyes is the horror when she realizes that this is the image that will be playing in her nightmares tonight: John Stamos masturbating to himself. On Fuller House. Have mercy on us all, indeed.
