Cardi B Is Trademarking ‘Okurrr’, so Expect to See That S**t Everywhere

Cardi B’s trademark phrase is “okurrr.” It’s sort of like Donald Trump saying “You’re Fired” or Gomer Pyle saying “Shazam!” or Donald Trump saying “Where am I? Who are you? Can someone bring me a Diet Coke? I’m daddy’s good boy.” It’s just something they say all the time and everyone immediately thinks of them when they hear it.

Cardi’s “okurrr” is so famous it got a Pepsi ad made about it.

Cardi B is a lot of things, but she’s no dummy. So she’s trademarking that s**t, according to E!, for use on “paper goods, namely paper cups and posters.” But that’s not all!

An earlier filing for “Okurr” with one less “r” on Feb. 25  was for “clothing, namely, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, pants, shorts, jackets, footwear, headgear, namely, hats and caps, blouses, bodysuits, dresses, jumpsuits, leggings, skirts, sweaters, undergarments.”

Yeah, here’s where this loses me. Why do the paper cups need three r’s but it’s only two on clothing?

I need to get my own catchphrase to put on t-shirts and cockrings and party napkins. It’ll probably end up being “Ugh, this fuckin’ guy,” though. Although I would buy a shirt with that on it.
