Taylor Swift is Having a Meltdown Because Scooter Braun Bought Her Back Catalogue

Taylor Swift has made most of her music for a record label called Big Machine Records, and that label had just been bought by Scooter Braun, an adult human being who has the name of a muppet. Scooter is also the manager of a bunch of musicians Taylor has had stupid feuds with over the years, so now she’s having a meltdown in public.

Yeah, what a shock, Taylor Swift doesn’t like someone. In this case, in her somewhat deranged Tumblr rant on the issue, Taylor mentions Braun as somehow being complicit in the leak of her phone call with Kanye West about Famous that made her look like a huge asshole when she tried to start a feud over it and call Kanye a misogynist despite having signed off on the lyric about her in a phone call with West before he recorded it.

Some fun facts about today’s news: I learned about Scooter Braun’s purchase of my masters as it was announced to the world. All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years.

Like when Kim Kardashian orchestrated an illegally recorded snippet of a phone call to be leaked and then Scooter got his two clients together to bully me online about it.

She certainly holds a grudge. It’s kind of not surprising that Swift has beef with some of Braun’s clients, she’s been in fights with everyone. She tried to out-wine-mom-feminist-platitude Tina Fey and Amy Poehler over a “Taylor Swift sure breaks up with a lot of guys and writes albums about them, doesn’t she” joke.

No, you got a good deal because you’re a big star and not some unknown trying to get a break. You just signed with the label that your previous label is a subsidiary of.

Not surprisingly, everyone in the world popped up to say Taylor Swift is full of s**t. Well, mostly just Justin Bieber.

 What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? seems to me like it was to get sympathy u also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully scooter. Anyway, One thing i know is both scooter and i love you.

Braun’s wife also posted on Instagram about Swift’s blog post, mostly to say that Swift was given the opportunity to own her masters and passed and that she’s lying about not having known about the sale before it was announced to the public.

She also called Swift a bully, saying “The world has watched you collect and drop friends like wilted flowers,” which is both brutal and true.

You know, just keep in mind that like Kevin Spacey or Bill Cosby, you can like someone’s work even if they’re a giant fake asshole who everyone hates.
