Last year, Sarah Scott alleged that while filming a sex scene with Kip Pardue for the independent tv pilot Mogulettes, Pardue got way too handsy. Scott, who was wearing pasties and boyshorts and was under the covers with Pardue, says the actor got hard and put her hands on his penis. Surprisingly, it didn’t end there. After they finished filming, Pardue asked Scott into his trailer where he started masturbating in front of her.
Scott said, “I literally froze,” and asked what he was doing. She ran out of the room. Later, she ran into him while leaving the set and asked why he’d do that. He said it was because she was “just so hot.”
In his mind, he was probably thinking she’d be so turned on by him beating his meat that she’d help him out. But this is the real world where a pervert’s Cinderella story doesn’t actually come true. Instead, Scott filed a police report and reported it to SAG. When asked, Kip said in a statement through his rep that he misread the situation.
Today, it came out that SAG found Pardue guilty of being someone no woman should have to work with. This came with a little help from another actress named Andrea Bogart who had worked with Pardue on a few episodes of Ray Donovan. The two played a married couple on the show and were once preparing to shoot a foursome sex scene with Hank Azaria and Sherilyn Fenn. Of course, Pardue “misread” the situation again.
After blocking the scene — in which Bogart was wearing “pasties and fish-wire underwear” — the actress returned to her trailer. That’s when, she told The Times, Pardue knocked on her door and asked if he could come in.
“So he comes in and then out of left field, he starts talking about how crazy the scene is and unbuttoning his pants,” Bogart said. “He pulls out his genitalia and starts rubbing himself. I remember just covering my face and being like, ‘What are you doing?’ I was embarrassed and in utter shock.”
She said that Pardue then asked her to touch him, which she declined to do. Then, she said, he asked her to touch herself; again, she declined. She urged him to go to his own trailer, which he eventually did.
Pardue’s lawyer denied everything. Except for him putting Scott’s hand on his dick. According to Kip, “he painted it as a welcome gesture.” He then tried to make Sarah out to be “a sexually aggressive female” because she once scrolled past a picture on her Instagram account of her breastfeeding her kid. This defense would have worked almost 100 years ago in 1920 so Kip may want to time travel back there.
Pardue has been fined $6,000 by SAG. If he takes an online workplace sexual harassment course, it’ll be reduced to $3,000. It’s a bullshit punishment that was to remain private and not be shared with anyone, but now that LAT published their story Kip Pardue’s career will hopefully be dead like it should have been long ago.
