Kanye West Wants You To Take His Doomed Run For President Seriously

Kanye West is serious about running for President in 2024 which is like Christmas coming early for someone who gets paid to make fun of celebrities when they do stupid s**t like this. Kanye is like the gift that keeps on giving; if it’s a slow news day I can just type his name into Google and he’s probably done something worth talking about.

Today that thing is getting very mad about how no one is taking his 2024 presidential run seriously. In fact, according to Page Six, people laughed at him when he said it, which really pissed him off because he apparently wasn’t joking, which just makes it that much funnier.

West was discussing bringing jobs to the U.S. via his sneaker line, before segueing into “When I run for president in 2024 . . .” according to Inc staff writer Kevin J. Ryan, who live-tweeted the event.

The audience reportedly laughed at this line, which West didn’t take well.

“What are you laughing at?” he asked, before staring for a long time at the audience, Ryan said.

That’s not a good sign for his political aspirations. But it’s understandable, Bernie Sanders hasn’t even won the presidency yet and Kanye’s already talking about running against him in the next election. I think all Kanye has to do to be President is not say anything that makes him sound like a self-absorbed mental patient for the next five years. Should be a snap, right?

West also said that he may legally change his name to “Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West,” and he’s come to the conclusion that “Rome was our original Silicon Valley.”

West then added that “there are only four elements: earth, wind, fire and water … therefore playing with your iPhone is the same as playing with dirt.”
