Jake Paul Arrested, Where’s That Police Brutality When You Need It?

Last week, a man named George Floyd was killed by a police officer who knelt on his neck for nearly ten minutes until he was dead. The fact that it was captured so clearly on video and the brazenness displayed by the officer who killed him as well as three other officers who watched and didn’t intervene set off what has become the largest civil rights protest in world history. And Jake Paul was there taking a bottle of vodka someone grabbed from a P.F. Chang’s or something for his Instagram story.

Paul insists he was only there to “document” the protests, but he’s not Ken Burns and we all saw him take that bottle of vodka.

Well, so did the cops because ABC-15 Arizona reports that he “has been charged with criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly, both misdemeanor charges.“

George Floyd was arrested for allegedly passing a counterfeit $20 bill at a convenience store and was killed by the police. Jake Paul probably doesn’t have a scratch on him, which is weird because anyone who has looked at Jake Paul’s face has wanted to punch it, you can’t tell me that’s not true.

Logan Paul, Jake’s brother, actually responded to everything much better than his brother, attending the protests as part of the crowd with his girlfriend and no film crew and releasing a pretty decent statement on racism that actually gets the point and uses his platform in a good way.

The elder Paul also kind of stuck up for his brother Jake, saying, “Should he have been there? Absolutely fucking not. But, my brother didn’t steal anything.” The video we saw disagrees with you on that one, Logan.
