Damn, Naya Rivera, 33, from Glee went boating and swimming off Lake Piru in California with her 4-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, but hasn’t been found. She’s now missing and possibly has drowned according to authorities. Her son was found alone in their boat.
Rivera rented a boat Wednesday afternoon. When she didn’t return it, staff at the lake found her son in the boat, but Rivera was not. Wow, that’s some crazy news.
There was a search-and-rescue (still classified as “rescue”), but so far no luck. It was eventually called off at night and will start again Thursday.
Here’s hoping she turns up somehow.
[Update 7/8/20 10:44 p.m. PST: According to Robert Kovacik of NBC Los Angeles, Rivera’s son was able to make it back into the boat, but Rivera did not. Her son was wearing a life-vest, but not Rivera.]
