Marilyn Manson is in a World of Trouble as he Denies Allegations

I think Marilyn Manson is done. The abuse scandal that’s involved with is going to do too much damage to him for him to come back, and he works in an industry where Chris Brown is still a superstar. But even CAA has dropped Manson as a client, things are not looking good for him.

Manson issued a statement denying the allegation, claiming that he locked those women in “bad girl rooms” consensually.

Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.

Meanwhile, Page Six reports that some of his other exes have weighed in. Rose McGowan spoke in support of the victims, but Jenna Jameson had the most interesting comment in The Daily Mail.

Our relationship was odd. We didn’t go out long because I cut it off after he would nonchalantly say he fantasized about burning me alive. Sexually he liked to bite, and it was disconcerting.

He and Armie Hammer should hang out.

She did say he didn’t do anything without her permission, but she added “Once he started speaking to me violently, I was like… goodbye Brian. Also, the bruises from him biting me weren’t fun.”

My opinion is that Manson almost certainly crossed a line, but he also probably didn’t know he was doing it. Which doesn’t make it better, and I’m not sure he cared that he was crossing a line.
