Britney Spears ‘Cried For Two Weeks’ After Seeing ‘Framing Britney Spears’

A lot of people got very worked up about the documentary Framing Britney Spears, but Spears herself doesn’t appear to have been a big fan. The singer is trying to stay positive and dance and smile, but she didn’t like how she was portrayed in the doc.

Spears said “I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes !!!!”

Honestly, I don’t think Spears has anything to be embarrassed about. I haven’t seen anyone express anything but empathy for her and her situation, but I can see why she could be embarrassed having her business exposed like that. People feel how they feel and that’s okay.

Spears ended her post with a positive message, saying “I do what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy … love … and happiness  !!!! Every day dancing brings me joy !!! I’m not here to be perfect … perfect is boring … I’m here to pass on kindness.” That’s really sweet, it’s kind of hard not to like her.

It’s a lot easier not to like her father Jamie. Britney very publicly wants Jamie permanently removed as conservator of her estate and person, and Jamie has fought the estate part of that tooth and nail. And he’s requested that his daughter pay for it.

Page Six reports Jamie is asking for upwards of three million dollars from his daughter to pay his fees as conservator, as well his legal fees to fight her efforts to be removed as conservator, including what appears to be PR efforts on behalf of Jamie. The best part is Jamie’s legal fees are three times what Britney’s are.

Honestly, I can see why Jamie is fighting so hard for this, this conservatorship thing seems like a pretty good deal. You get over $200,000 a year to approve things someone wants to buy, and when they say “I would like anyone in the world other than you to be in charge of my finances and career” you say fight them in court and make them pay for your lawyers and PR for how bad you look? Why wouldn’t you do your best to stay on that gravy train?

I mean, aside from the fact that your daughter is miserable and probably isn’t very happy with you. But I doubt those are pressing concerns for Jamie Spears.
