Bill and Melinda Gates are divorcing, which shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone. If you’d spent 27 years not being satisfied sexually by an 85lb software engineer’s tiny penis, you’d probably be eyeing the Scrooge McDuckian pile of money you had amassed and planning your retirement to Cunnilingus Island, too.
What was surprising to me is that TMZ reports the couple did not have a prenup.
The divorce docs makes it clear there is NO PRENUP. That’s because according to the filing, the only written agreement that they say pertains to the divorce is the separation agreement.
Not surprisingly, Melinda is not asking for any spousal support. They are asking for a trial date in April 2022, but almost certainly this will be settled without a trial.
Yeah, if you got one billion dollars you wouldn’t need spousal support, Melinda Gates is going to get significantly more than that.
Here’s the thing: Bill Gates was already the richest man in America when he got married. He was already a billionaire. What kind of billionaire doesn’t get a prenup when he marries his subordinate? Yeah, you didn’t know he was her boss before they got married, did you? Tumblr’s gonna cancel him for that for sure.
Bill Gates is going to lose so much money here he’s going to be eating nothing but ramen. Ramen prepared by his personal chef Hiroki who used to work at at Tsuta in Tokyo. It’s made with lobster and Kobe beef.
Come to think of it, I think Chris Rock had a bit about how rich people don’t need prenups. Their kids are adults and who cares if your wife takes $65 billion when you’re left with $65 billion? It was probably worth the $65 billion to avoid having the fight over getting a prenup.
“…you’d probably be eyeing the Scrooge McDuckian pile of money you had amassed and planning your retirement to Cunnilingus Island, too.” Bro, hold me, I damn near died laughing after I read this :D
