LAPD Almost Knocked Out Stephanie Tanner

Jodie Sweetin got pushed down by LAPD at a protest today, nearly knocking her out when she fell on her head.

Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner on the late 80s show Full House, was protesting the recent Roe v. Wade decision.

She led marchers on a freeway. At one point, she attempted to climb up the side of the hill. That’s when cops, who had formed a line as they do across from the protesters, pushed her back. Sweetin fell backwards off the hill onto the cement.

In the video, she appears dazed, adjusts her cap and in the next shot, it looks like she’s receded into the crowd.

According to People, LAPD acknowledges the video and has opened an inquiry. We all know what that means. Part of the LAPD’s statement:

“The LAPD is aware of a video clip of a woman being pushed to the ground by officers not allowing the group to enter on foot and overtake the 101 freeway…The force used will be evaluated against the LAPD’s policy and procedure.”

Sweetin told the media she’s ok, and released her own statement.

I’m extremely proud of the hundreds of people who showed up yesterday to exercise their First Amendment rights and take immediate action to peacefully protest the giant injustices that have been delivered from our Supreme Court. Our activism will continue until our voices are heard and action is taken. This will not deter us, we will continue fighting for our rights. We are not free until ALL of us are free.

Sweetin has had addiction problems with almost fatal consequences, but cleaned up recently.

Meanwhile, Candace Cameron Bure, who played DJ Tanner and was Sweetin’s sister on the show, was probably on the other side of that protest with her pro-life, “pro-informed consent,” “pro-immune system,” “pro-early intervention” and “pro-sunlight, exercise, real food and vitamins” stance.

Then there’s Lori Loughlin who played Aunt Becky on Full House. She probably was in the middle of the crowd looking for someone to bribe.
