Ricky Martin Facing 50 Years in Jail, Alleged Incest and Domestic Violence Against Nephew

You know how you’ll ask, whatever happened to Ricky Martin? Well…here’s the crazy news. Ricky Martin is facing up to fifty years in jail for alleged domestic violence and incest charges against his nephew.

Weeks ago multiple Spanish media reported an unknown pop star in Puerto Rico had a temporary restraining order filed against them. Both pop star and accuser were anonymous at the time.

Now, we know who pop star and the alleged victim are. And the person who revealed both identities is none other than Ricky Martin’s brother, Eric Martin. Thanks bruh!

TMZ reports Eric allegedly revealed the victim as 21-year-old Dennis Yadiel Sanchez. Sanchez is also Ricky’s nephew. It seems Sanchez would be Eric’s son?

Ricky’s accused of a 7-month relationship with Sanchez. Sanchez reportedly ended it, but Ricky didn’t take the breakup well.

According to docs related to the TRO, Martin would stalk and call Sanchez frequently.

He calls him frequently. In addition, the petitioner has seen him hanging around his residence on at least 3 occasions. The petitioner fears for his safety.

Ricky faces an even worse punishment because the crime occurred against a relative and happened in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico gives out harsher punishments when sexual crimes happen against relatives. In this case, 50-year-old Ricky Martin could face up to 50 years in prison.

Martin’s court date is July 21. Here we go! Ale, ale, ale! No? Ok then.

Last year, he told PEOPLE “I am a man with no secrets.” Errr, except one giant one.

He went on in the interview to talk about coming out as gay. Before he came out, he was confused about his sexual orientation, saying:

Am I gay? Am I bisexual? Am I confused? What am I?

Am I gay? Am I bisexual? Am I boning my cousin? Am I spending 50 years in jail? Yes, I’m spending 50 years in jail.
