The only reason I know who Jena Malone is is because she was in Donnie Darko. Well, here she is in Queensland, Australia shooting The Ruins. A horror movie about killer vines. Yes, killer vines.

A group of friends whose leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when they, along with a fellow tourist embark on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins.

Vines? Vines?! I don’t care if it’s based on a book. It sounds lame. The only saving grace would be if they had vine rape or attempted vine rape (thanks MPAA). That’s a scary situation. One time I fell asleep for 20 years and it almost happened to me. Good thing I woke up and moved five feet away.
