Gal Gadot Is Your Wonder Woman

Move aside Jaimie Alexander, Olga Kurylenko and Elodie Yung, because it’s official. Gal Gadot (Fast and Furious) has been cast to play Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman vs Superman film. She’ll star alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.

Galdot is a 28-year-old former Miss Israel who’s really really pretty. She’d make a disarming Wonder Woman. People aren’t even going to care she’s tying them up with her magic lasso. As long as there’s a safe word.

Says Zack Snyder, “Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”

It’s unclear what magical quality Zack Snyder was talking about, but when he outlined the shape of an hourglass with his hands and shouted, “awoooga!,” all the dudes nodded in understanding.
