Black rights groups are criticizing the casting of Angelina Jolie as the mixed-race Mariane Pearl in A Mighty Heart (a movie about slain WSJ writer Daniel Pearl). Detractors are insistent that a real mixed-race actor like Halle Berry should have been selected.

This is the first picture of Angelina Jolie playing pregnant Mariane Pearl in the Brad Pitt produced A Mighty Heart. Mariane is the widow of Wall Street Journal reporter, Daniel Pearl, who was murdered by terrorists in 2002 while researching a story in Pakistan. I’m guessing there’s no gratuitous nudity in this movie.
