Total Film asked a gaggle of celebrities whether or not they’d be interested in being a part of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII. Most wouldn’t pass up a chance to work with Abrams. Mark Wahlberg, who passed up a chance at Star Trek, wouldn’t pass up another. Meanwhile, Eli Roth would make an entire movie about the obscure characters from the film.
Only a few would turn it down. For example, Mila Kunis said she prefers Star Trek over Star Wars while Jason Statham isn’t a big sci-fi fan. He prefers “true stories” and action films.
True stories like The Expendables where aging mercenaries eliminate a Latin dictator, Crank where he has to keep his heart rate up or he’ll die and survives a fall from a helicopter landing straight into a sequel and Safe where he protects a girl with photographic memory from the Triads. You know, typical situations that no one in their life has dealt with ever.
