A carjacking in Boston last night led to the death of a MIT police officer and a shootout with police. Witnesses say in addition to gunfire, explosions were heard. These were said to be either similar to the explosive devices used in the Boston Marathon bombings or grenades. One suspect was apprehended after a chase but later died.
