In a Q&A with Yahoo! through CEO Marissa Mayer, Jennifer Lawrence talked about the unrealistic body expectations put out by popular culture.
“The world has this idea that if you don’t look like an airbrushed perfect model,” she said in conversation with Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer. “You have to see past it. You look how you look, you have to be comfortable. What are you going to do? Be hungry every single day to make other people happy? That’s just dumb.”
In a way, she’s right. It is dumb. In another way, this is kind of a dangerous quote because you know some fatties are going to take this to mean that they shouldn’t change their 3,000 calorie a day diet of soda, Starbucks and fast food because screw the media, right? Real women have curves. Why should they change just to fit into an unrealistic standard? The only way they’ll diet is if you pry the Cheeto droppings from their cold, dead folds.
I have unrealistic expectations of her giving me head, too…
