That feeling you get as a mother when your newborn is suckling on your teat? Penelope Cruz can’t get enough of it. Speaking to Allure, she confessed that “nursing is addictive” and “it’s hard when the day comes when you have to stop.”
Which explains why she seems so happy with her new 6-month old Luna. Her second kid with Javier Bardem. Cruz said she breastfed her 2-year-old, Leo, for 13 months and plans to do the same with her daughter.
A side benefit of all this milking? She burns an extra 500 calories a day so she gets to eat a little more.
But what happens after this kid grows up? While she wasn’t directly asked about it, I assume she’ll just pop out another kid. That or maybe she’ll finally respond to that job application I sent in which lists my skills as “proficient in teat suckling” and “makes realistic googoo gaga sounds.”
When that kid gets tired I’ll be glad to take over.
After me, I called it.
