Caran Johnson monitors police scanners in order to live-tweet police activity (really?). She experienced a tragic surprise Wednesday when she discovered the car crash she was tweeting about was one in which her husband had died in. Caran began following the accident near I-205 at around 2 pm. Almost 2 hours later, she discovered the accident had claimed the life of her husband.
#Clark911 #pdxtraffic WSP dispatch tells me there are three vehicles involved, two people trapped. A Life Flight helicopter is en route

@Col_cops i hate that section of I205 S. too many on ramps, speeders and too few lanes.
— ~Caran (@Miercatte) December 4, 2013
#Clark911 One lane of I-205 is closed. WSP will likely have to block the whole interstate to allow the helicopter to land.

They said they are so close to SWWMC, they can take the patient there, instead of Lifeflight. #clark911

— ~Caran (@Miercatte) December 4, 2013
@Col_cops @wspd5pio do you have descriptions of involved vehicles?
— ~Caran (@Miercatte) December 4, 2013
