Anne Hathaway Wants to Be Catwoman Again

DC has to hype up their press game if they’re ever going to have the momentum Marvel has procured in 2016. Stepping up to the block to get diehard comic fans and plain old moviegoers alike into the mood is Anne Hathaway, who is reportedly interested in reprising her role as Catwoman in a spin-off film. Speaking with Variety Studio at the Toronto Film Festival, Hathaway said:

“I loved that character and I had such a blast playing her…I’m not sure how it would work because I think the Chris Nolan chapter of the Batman story has been wrapped up and I’m part of that, but I love the DC Universe and it would be fun to take a trip back.”

Hathaway, last seen as Catwoman in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises, has been a controversial choice for the latex-clad superhero/supervillain. I’ve spent entire friendships agreeing with people only to find out that they are Hathaway-haters. You know what I have to say to you?

What a waste of a friendship! Catwoman should get a movie soon. If Anne Hathaway wants it, cool!
