Blake Lively Bullied in Grade School, Got Called ‘Big Bird’

Blake Lively is perfect. She’s beautiful, she starred in Gossip Girl, and has good taste in men. But even perfect people get teased growing up.

In an Instagram post, Lively revealed that she was called Big Bird growing up because she was “too tall” and had “yellow hair.” At least that’s better than being called Big Bird for hanging out with people who live in trash cans.

Lively also shared an Instagram post with the caption “Finally. I have friends.”

Lively shares two kids with husband Ryan Reynolds. They’ll no doubt love seeing mom hang out down on Sesame Street with Big Bird and the rest of her new friends. And if they happen to join Blake on Sesame Street, don’t expect to see pictures of them with her.

Lively has been protective of her kids in the past. She asked Page Six, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle to remove images of her children at an Easter event. Furthermore, she personally messaged fans to remove any photos of her children taken from the event.

A rep for Lively told PageSix, “We appreciate all magazines, websites and publications who are standing by protecting the privacy of children and vowing to cut off the supply chain to help end the stalking of children.”

Magazines aren’t always stalking children. Plenty of celebrities simply want their children out there. But this is why Blake Lively is perfect.
